Retail Interior Design (NY, NY)
\n(5 Years' Experience in Branded Environments, Retail Interiors, and Architecture)
\n \nWe are seeking an Intermediate Design Professional to collaborate with clients and design leadership on retail programs, test-fits, fixture design, material selection, and presentation development, ensuring alignment with brand and project goals. Must have experience with: Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD.
\n \nThis candidate must have: extensive retail planning experience, advanced digital visualization skills, and a detail-oriented approach to coordinating consultants, fabricators, and project teams. Responsibilities:
\n• Interface with the client throughout the design phase
\n• Assist design director in overseeing the design team
\n• Develop preliminary retail programs of requirements
\n• Develop test-fits, schematic design planning, program analysis & basic code analysis
\n• Prepare and support design scope and budget documentation related to retail fixtures, millwork
\nand specialty elements
\n• Coordinate design requirements with client, consultants and project team
\n• Organize, prepare and attend design presentations
\n• Select, present, and specify furniture, finishes and accessories
\n• Design and coordinate retail fixturing, including wall systems, gondolas, vitrines, POS and
\nspecialty displays.
\n• Develop and coordinate custom millwork design, detailing, specification and fabrication intent
\n• Assist and reviewing engineering documents, shop drawings, fixture drawings
\n• Periodically visit project site during construction. Requirements:
\n• Expertise in retail store planning, including sales area and BOH layouts
\n• Experience with retail fixturing and custom millwork design and coordination
\n \nAnnual Salary Range*: $90K to $115K
