This position is designed for someone who enjoys talking with people, working leads, and closing new business.This is a work-from-home position after completing one month of required in-office training.Position OverviewAs a Remote Insurance Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be generating new auto and homeowners insurance business by calling provided leads and prospect lists, identifying customer needs, preparing quotes, following up with prospects, and closing sales.This is a production-focused sales position for someone who is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone and being accountable to activity and sales goals.ResponsibilitiesMake outbound calls to provided leads and prospect listsQuote and sell auto and homeowners insuranceFollow up consistently with prospects who have received quotesIdentify opportunities to bundle auto and home insuranceEducate prospects on coverage options and available productsMaintain accurate notes and follow-up activities in our systemsMeet established call, quote, application, and sales goalsProvide a professional and positive customer experienceParticipate in team meetings, coaching, and ongoing sales trainingRequirementsActive VA Property & Casualty insurance license requiredStrong phone and communication skillsComfortable making a high volume of outbound callsSelf-motivated and able to stay productive while working from homeStrong follow-up and organizational skillsCompetitive mindset and desire to meet and exceed sales goalsReliable internet connection and appropriate work-from-home environmentAbility to complete one month of in-office training before transitioning to remote workTraining & Work ArrangementThe first month of employment will be completed in office and will focus on our sales process, quoting systems, products, lead management, customer conversations, expectations, and performance standards.After successfully completing training and demonstrating the ability to perform the position independently, the employee will transition to a work-from-home sales positionIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who enjoys sales, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, follows up relentlessly, and wants their results to directly impact their income.Insurance experience is helpful, but we are especially interested in candidates who are coachable, competitive, disciplined, and comfortable being held accountable to measurable sales goals.Compensation: Hourly plus commissionScheduleMonday–Friday: 10-6pm: or 11-7pmTraining Location1901 Governors Pointe Dr Ste A Suffolk VA 23436After Training:Work From HomeFlexible work from home options available.J-18808-Ljbffr
