The City of Bangor is searching for a qualified candidate for the position of Payroll and Accounting Specialist in its Finance Department. The Payroll and Accounting Specialist is responsible for preparing and maintaining City payroll and is responsible for accounting bookkeeping and reconciliations. This position is critical in understanding applying and interpreting pay-related laws to ensure the City remains in compliance. Communication with departmental personnel on a regular basis to provide guidance and assistance will be a major responsibility.
