Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to help expand our Acute Care and Trauma Surgery in Waxahachie, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work‑life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights:

• The candidate will need to be interested and comfortable in providing both acute care and trauma services.
• Join a multi‑specialty group that has two other acute care surgeons
• Estimated 7 (24hr) in house shifts per month.
• Provider will primarily handle acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month.
• The provider will host 2 clinic days to assist with post‑op/ follow‑up patients.
• Level 4 trauma facility

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
